The beauty of the Colorado Rockies has captivated me and I’m constantly challenged to portray the essence of the  views that so inspire me. My latest series of botanicals takes that same challenge to a new level. In utilizing a larger format, getting close up, and using pastels, I am attempting to simplify the composition with bold and vibrant colors. I focus attention on the subtle nuances of the subjects hopefully bringing a new visual experience and joy to the viewer.
